The Organisation:  
 
Our client is currently seeking an APS6 Digital Data Analyst to join a team within a Federal Government Agency. This role can be based in any of the following locations: Adelaide SA, Surry Hills NSW, Geelong VIC, Richmond Vic.  
 
This Government agency works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers. They seek to uphold the rights of, and promote the health, safety, and well-being of people with disability receiving supports or services. 
 
The Service Design Delivery Branch is responsible for enhancing the experience of participants, front line staff, provider and stakeholders by improving the agency’s services. The branch uses human-centered design principles, leads the discovery and design of improvements grounded in the diverse, real needs and experiences of those involved.  
 

The Role:  
 
The APS6 Digital Data Analyst is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents.

This is an assignment from approximately late October / early November for 12 months, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with a pay rate of $60.26 per hour plus super. This role can be performed from the 4 locations; Adelaide SA, Surry Hills NSW, Richmond VIC, Geelong VIC, although some work from home may be available. You must hold Australian Citizenship at the time of applying.   
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  
 
  • Creating data and analytics reporting for participant and provider digital products, supporting monthly branch reporting.  
  • Documenting key insights around user and customer experience gaps, current processes and accessibility. 
  • Working with business analysts and technical specialists, identifying and prioritising problems or useability issues reported by the product users requiring attention. 
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding the context, goals and key performance indicators of the business area. 
  • Undertaking day-to-day analytical work on a range of tasks including regular and one-off analyses and ‘ad hoc’ requests. 
  • Creating accessible data visualisation 
 
To be considered you will demonstrate: 
 
  • Creation of data and analytics reporting for participant and provider digital products, supporting monthly branch reporting.
  • Documenting key insights around user and customer experience gaps, current processes and accessibility.
  • Working with business analysts and technical specialists to identify and prioritise problems or useability issues reported by the product users requiring attention.  
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding the context, goals and key performance indicators of the business area.
  • Undertaking day-to-day analytical work on a range of tasks including regular and one-off analyses and ‘ad hoc’ requests.
  • Creating accessible data visualisation.
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members from various disciplines. 

Key skills requried: 
  • Outstanding knowledge required- Microsoft office skills.
  • Highly regarded- Dynatrace.
  • Some knowledge of: Salesforce, Firebase and Outsystems.
