Job Title: Business Services Officer
Employer: DFP Recruitment Client
Position Type: 6 month Full Time Casual Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: $36.50
Location: Northam, WA 6401
Role Overview: This role involves managing diary and travel arrangements, organizing office equipment maintenance, and handling Purchase Orders for goods and services
 
Key Responsibilities;
  • Managing diary and travel arrangements
  • Organising maintenance of office equipment
  • Organising Purchase Orders for goods and services
  • Undertaking financial tasks including processing and data entry of Corporate Credit Cards; and processing and maintaining timely payments of accounts and receipts, petty cash reconciliation.
  • Providing accurate records management functions – creating and maintaining files, following up overdue actions, creating file structures; conducting searches of archive and record retrieval; providing support to region staff in searching TRIM records
  • Reception functions – switchboard and front counter enquiries, and handling/distributing mail correspondence.
  • Assisting staff with computer troubleshooting and IT equipment
  • Miscellaneous admin duties
 
Essential to be successful in this role:  
  • Time management – organisation and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Business and administrative processes and practices, including procurement.
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Computer literate, i.e., Microsoft package
  • Record keeping
  • Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
  • Valid WA 'C' class Drivers License
