Job description

Eagle Petroleum is a family-owned and operated fuel and lubricants distributor based in West Kalgoorlie, providing the latest fuel storage and management technology and supplying quality petroleum products and systems servicing the Goldfields region.

We are seeking a motivated person to join our busy team to undertake maintenance, repair, and breakdown service in the workshop and offsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and machinery used in mining operations. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mining equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Component replacement, refurbishment, and fabrication on various machinery types.
  • Provide on-site technical support and training to clients.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts used.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM (50 hours per week).
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
  • Experience as a diesel mechanic is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must hold a current manual driver's license and a forklift license.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to remote sites.
