Job description

  • Federal Government opportunity in Surry Hills
  • 12-month contracts with the possibility of extension
  • $43.82 per hour + super
Our client is a Federal Government body that supports Australians and their families by valuing a positive contemporary attitude to disability.

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level operational and administrative support to the Branch Manager, handling a diverse range of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Acting as a key liaison for stakeholders, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective daily operations of the branch.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Managing diary and emails, handling competing priorities and deadlines
  • Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and handling confidential documents
  • Organising travel arrangements and official functions for the Branch Manager
  • Drafting correspondence, briefing materials, and reports
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on policy, projects, and operational matters
  • Undertaking research and investigations as required
  • General administrative and operational support
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant is essential
  • Strong prioritisation and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs
  • Government experience is desirable
