Our valued State Government client has a temporary opportunity for an experienced Business Support Officer in their Payroll team to start on 31st of March to the end of April with a possible extension.
You will be responsible for the accurate entry of timesheets, labour costing, leave, staff movements and extensions for field and office-based staff as well as answering general payroll queries from staff.

- A high attention to detail and the ability to pick up on errors prior to processing
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to answer a variety of queries on payroll
- The ability to read and interpret legislation and award details
- The ability to work as a part of a team and contribute to a culture of performance excellence
- Excellent time management skills to work within a fast-paced deadline driven environment
