  • Contract until 31st Dec’2025, with possible extension
  • APS5 - $55.24 per hour + super

The Organisation:

This Government body works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers. They seek to uphold the rights of, and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of people with disability receiving supports or services.

The Role:

 
The APS5 Quality Officer works under limited supervision to manage moderately complex tasks, providing policy advice and conducting qualitative and quantitative reviews to improve operational practices.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Managing a range of quality reviews
  • Providing professional and technical commentary to improve decision making, planning, and performance
  • Conducting quality assurance and quality control activities
  • Supporting and mentoring team members to enhance technical skills and knowledge
  • Assisting to develop and implement strategies for improving branch goals
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Stakeholder management
  • Quality assurance, including attention to detail and risk identification
  • Independence and decision-making, applying rules, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and evaluative judgment skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Adaptability to changes in work responsibilities or environment
