Our client, a leading engineering company that specialises in the Defence Maritime, Antarctic Shipping and Oil and Gas Industries, have a great opportunity for a trade qualified sheet metal worker, with TIG welding experience in Aluminium & Stainless Steel, and a keen eye for detail, to be involved in an exciting maritime defence project.
Working within a supportive close-knit team, you will be exposed to a new environment where you will be utilising your extensive sheet metal & welding experience on this unique project.
Based at Osborne, with on-site car parking, you will be rewarded with an attractive hourly rate commensurate with your experience.

- Capable of taking instructions both written and verbal
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Capable of maintaining OH&S standards
- Ability to carry out outfitting work to high standards
- Punctuality
- Time management to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently
- Record keeping of daily timecards
- Quality of workmanship
- Maintain OH&S requirements
- Notification of any unsafe acts or conditions
- Request correct materials and consumables
- Inspect and signed off job/project with Quality Inspector
- Follow all Procedures that relate to this position
