Job Title: Senior Policy/Project Officer
Employer: DFP Recruitment Client – State Government
Position Type: 2 Months Casual Temporary Contract (Full time or Part time)
Pay Rate: $70 - $82 per hour + Super
Location: Perth, WA 6000

Key Responsibilities;
•    Work closely with the clients functional leads to review high priority policies.
•    Provide specialist knowledge in one or more HR, IT or Finance functions particularly in relation to policy development.
•    Manage the review/update of agreed policies including necessary research, consultation and risk assessment.
•    Develop supporting documentation (guidelines/ procedures) and resources (fact sheets/ staff communications) as relevant.
•    Project manage the agreed tasks ensuring objectives and timelines are met.


Essential to be successful in the role;
•    Specialist knowledge and experience in HR, IT and/or Finance particularly in policy development for government agencies.
•    Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, negotiate and consult with a range of stakeholders in various contexts.
•    High level written communication skills including policy writing.
•    Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
