Job description

Our valued State Government partner is looking for an AO3 Business Support Officer to join their team in Ipswich.


Reporting to the Business Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to customers
  • Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.
  • Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems (i.e., in Ellipse and Microsoft Office).
  • Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures.
  • Effectively undertake general administration functions as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous call centre experience will be highly regarded
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Basic accounts knowledge would be an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and against KPI’s
  • High level customer service skills

In return, this role offers $49.40 + Super, 6th of a January start and an initial 3-month engagement with a possibility of an extension.
