The Opportunity:
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Car Sales Manager to oversee and manage the sales department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales goals, driving business growth, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Create and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Ensure team members maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback to maximize individual and group productivity.
• Foster a positive and customer-focused sales environment that ensures excellent service at all stages of the buying process.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure that sales personnel are knowledgeable about vehicle specifications, features, and pricing.
• Track sales metrics, report on performance, and set clear goals for the team.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing) to ensure a smooth sales process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Car Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse data, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive products, market trends, and the sales process.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to set and achieve challenging goals.
• High level of customer service and relationship-building skills.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
