Job description

Our State Government client is seeking an AO3 Procurement Support Officer to join their team in Nerang, on a 3-month contract, with the possibility to extend. You will be rewarded with an hourly rate of $49.40 + super.


As the Procurement Support Officer, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
  • Develop and maintain supplier databases
  • Maintain and enhance procedures for the entry and amendment of data within the supplier databases to ensure compliance
  • Maintain the integrity of registration licensing details
  • Manage and coordinate systems to ensure suppliers’ licenses and insurances are current
  • Provide regular reports on suspended/cancelled licences
  • Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence including telephone calls and the group email inbox

To be considered in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in Procurement / Purchasing
  • Ability to engage with key stakeholders
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture
  • The ability to use the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
  • Provide efficient and high standards of customer service
