Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, assembly, and installation of radio equipment racks
- Conduct testing and quality assurance checks to ensure equipment meets operational standards before deployment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare equipment for transport to various deployment sites.
- Accompany officers to various sites across the Perth metropolitan area to deploy and commission radio equipment.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process.
- Work closely with project officers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment.
Essential to be successful in the role:
- Experience in ICT and Communications is essential
- Cabling experience
- Previous experience within Radio Tech
- Current valid WA Drivers License is preferable but not essential
- Current valid NPC or ability to obtain
