Job description

Job Title: Radio Tech Support
Employer: DFP Recruitment Client
Position Type: 3rd February – 30th May Full time Casual Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: $49.44 per hour + Super
Location: Belmont, WA 6104
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, assembly, and installation of radio equipment racks
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance checks to ensure equipment meets operational standards before deployment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare equipment for transport to various deployment sites.
  • Accompany officers to various sites across the Perth metropolitan area to deploy and commission radio equipment.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process.
  • Work closely with project officers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment.
 
 
Essential to be successful in the role:
  • Experience in ICT and Communications is essential
  • Cabling experience
  • Previous experience within Radio Tech
  • Current valid WA Drivers License is preferable but not essential
  • Current valid NPC or ability to obtain
