About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Project Logistics Business Development Manager to lead client expansion and drive sustainable growth within the Projects sector. This role demands expertise in managing complex logistics operations for large-scale projects. You will play a key role in designing strategic sales initiatives and fostering relationships with key clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for financial growth and client satisfaction in project logistics.
- Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities in the Projects and heavy-lift logistics sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage complex tender processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated project logistics solutions.
- Ensure compliance with customs, quarantine (DAFF), and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Proven experience in business development within project logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sectors.
- Strong background in managing complex logistics projects, including heavy-lift and out-of-gauge transport.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving pipeline growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools to manage leads and client relationships.
