Join Our Client’s Team as an SAP Project Director – Shape the Future of Financial Transformation
Are you an experienced SAP Project Director with a strong background in SAP Financials and S/4HANA? We’re looking for a leader to take the reins of our ongoing SAP transformation project. If you’ve spent years leading large-scale SAP implementations and thrive on delivering successful financial system transformations, this role is for you!
Role: SAP Project Director
Rate: Candidates will be submitted at an hourly rate of their choosing based on their relevant experience (PAYG or ABN)
Preferred Start Date: 6 January 2025
End Date: 19 December 2025
Hours per week: Part-time – 32 hours per week
Location: Leederville, WA
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in hourly rate)
About the Role:
You’ll step in to take over a critical SAP S/4HANA implementation already in progress. As the Project Director, your mission will be to lead the team through the next stages, ensuring key milestones are met and that the project continues to align with our overall goals and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP S/4HANA implementation: Provide strategic guidance and hands-on oversight to drive the project towards success.
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to deliver an integrated SAP solution.
- Finalize the Delivery Business Case: Ensure the business case is completed and approved, meeting the set deadline.
- Manage the build process: Oversee the timely completion of the solution build in line with the project schedule.
- Coordinate testing: Ensure System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are initiated by the contract's end.
- Handle risks and issues: Proactively manage risks, address issues, and oversee scope changes without derailing the project timeline or budget.
- Ensure compliance: Maintain alignment with financial regulations and company policies.
- Report progress: Keep senior leadership informed on progress, risks, and overall project health.
- Delivery Business Case finalized and approved by April 2025.
- Solution Build Completion by September 2025.
- SIT and UAT Testing initiated by December 2025.

Essential Experience
- 5-10 years' experience leading large-scale SAP implementations for major organizations, specifically with hands-on knowledge in SAP S/4HANA.
- Full working rights within Australia
- Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain
- Willing to undergo drug and alcohol screening if successful
