Our valued government partner is seeking AO3 Procurement Support Officer to join their team in Cairns.

As the Procurement Support Officer, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Call, evaluate and award tenders (up to $250,000 in value)
- Raise Purchase Orders & action Purchase order adjustments
- Procure pricing from SOA contractors or seek quotes via request for offer process.
- Reviewing data in Ellipse
- Providing a range of administrative support functions to members of the Procurement section as required.
To be considered in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in Procurement support role
- Proficiency using MS Word and Excel
- Understanding or experience with computer systems ie: Ellipse, SAP etc will be highly regarded
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to engage with key stakeholders.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with KPI’s and mechanisms to measure performance.
