Our client is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator for an 11-month contract in their Fremantle office.
Rate: $70 per hour plus Super (flat rate)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration Until: 21/10/2025
Location: Fremantle, WA
Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Case Lead, the Project Coordinator will manage multiple streams of activities for the Business Case, supporting its successful transformation.
Key responsibilities include scheduling, reporting, communication, and business process mapping while coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Duties
- Assist with scheduling program activities (workshops, forums, communications, approval cycles).
- Update project documents such as schedules, risk and issue logs, and other materials as needed.
- Prepare program reports for executive governance review.
- Track project progress, resolve issues, document risks, publish progress reports, and recommend actions.
- Develop, facilitate, coordinate, and communicate initiatives for organizational consistency and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate project risks related to coordination and stakeholder management.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure proposed solutions align with strategy and continuous improvement.
- Provide dedicated administrative support to the Business Case Lead.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in project coordination and administration.
- Experience supporting program/project managers with governance and coordination activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products.
- Strong skills in researching, analyzing, and interpreting data.
Technical, Professional, and Specialist Skills
- Well-developed communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal), including the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet targets and manage timelines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
