Temporary Casual Contract Positions - Planning Officers (State Government Clients)

DFP Recruitment is excited to partner with several State Government clients in Perth, WA, to offer multiple temporary casual contract positions for skilled and experienced Planning Officers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and process planning applications in line with State Government policies and regulations.
  • Conduct land use planning, urban development assessments, and strategic planning activities.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality planning outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant planning laws, policies, and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a Planning Officer or similar role within a government or public sector environment.
  • Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and processes in Western Australia.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently within tight deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field is highly desirable.
