Location: Sydney and Brisbane
Duration: 12 months contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $46/hour + super
Working Hours: 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week

Our global client in the insurance industry is seeking a Motor Claims Consultant with exceptional customer service skills for a temporary contract role. This position offers genuine work-life balance and a supportive team environment.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Manage and administer new claims, liaising with customers, repairers/suppliers, and other parties.
  • Undertake technical claims administration, including gathering information, claims determination, preparing correspondence, calculating settlements, and processing payments.
  • Assist the Divisional Manager with the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of claims data.
  • Identify and pursue all opportunities for recovery.
  • Monitor outstanding claims using a diary system to ensure prompt settlement in line with internal procedures, policies, and GICOP requirements, meeting quality assurance and service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with internal and external customers and stakeholders, including Trust Administrators, Fund Managers, Repairers, and Assessors.
  • Provide claims support and information, working effectively within a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.

  • Capacity to recognize trends and anomalies in claims data.
  • Attention to detail.
