DFP Perth are seeking a Digital Facilities Architect to engage in a temporary contract for 12 months with our State Government Client

Start Date: Jan 2025 – Dec 2025

Location: Perth CBD

Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week  

Salary Range: 150-165 p/h +super

This is a specialist role. Reporting to the Manager Digital Facilities Architecture, the Digital Facilities Architect supports the design and delivery of digital solutions within Major Health Infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

Position Responsibilities:
  • The provision of the relevant frameworks, principles, policies, standards, and architectures relating to the domain of expertise; applications, infrastructure, biomedical and/or building management systems
  • Input into the project planning and design phases, including technical design documentation, business case cost models, and procurement documentation
  • Coordinate input from the appropriate subject matter experts; local and system digital health leadership, facilities management, biomedical engineering, and ICT functions
  • Provide advice and guidance to the project leadership and technical teams
  • Provide direction on behalf of the project to the Managing Contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors on the required digital solutions and services
Key skills required: 
  • Extensive experience of delivery in a healthcare environment
  • demonstrate significant experience and success in the provision of expert technical advice and direction to large, high-risk, complex facilities capital programs
  • In-depth knowledge of technology design and delivery into construction projects and environments, with a specialist focus on one or more of the following domains: applications, biomedical, building management systems, enterprise computing, end user computing, network and telecommunications, and/or contemporary audio visual and videoconferencing
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities and meet deadlines
