Cost Modeler - ICT Platform Corporate Systems
  • From $800 per day + 11.5% super
  • 12-month contract + 12-month extension
  • Hybrid work arrangements (3 days WFH)
  • Open to all locations
  • Weekly pay | Labour hire
About the role:
My client is seeking an experienced Cost Modeler to work within The Corporate Systems Directorate of this Federal Government Agency.
Duties may include:
  • Contribute budget cost plans and forecast for the business case to support the program.
  • Develop project cost plans and forecasts.
  • Monitor and manage expenditure and examine areas where budgets and expenditure exceed agreed tolerances.
  • Provide effective financial control for optimal decision making.
  • Analyse expenditure (actual & forecast), examine variances and advises on options in the use of available budget
  • Advise on financial planning, budgeting & costing for the project.
  • Provide assistance in developing tender documentation related to the project procurement. This includes any project related ATM documents
  • Provide analyse in vendors’ budget requirements to support the program.
  • Provide effective financial control of the business case for optimal procurement decision making.
About You:
You’ll have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a strong background in Federal Government Procurement and project coordination or business administration. You’ll enjoy collaboration and working with a range of stakeholders along with the flexibility and interest to develop new skills and adapting to new ways of working and tools.
Our ideal candidates will have:
  • Demonstrate strong budget skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate experience in hands-on procurement activities.
  • Knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR) and PGPA Act
  • Competent MS
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Confluence.

  • Be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Check and completion of the Agency’s screening checks, including; Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A Baseline Clearance is required to commence in this role.
