Our client, a leader in their industry since 2006, is known for delivering premium customer experiences and has built a stellar reputation. Their dedicated team of stone masons, project managers, and office staff works to create world-class benchtops and custom designs.
Position Overview
As a CNC Operator and on-site measurer, you'll work closely with a small, enthusiastic team, focusing on precision and attention to detail. You will as needed go on-site to complete the measure. You will predominately spend your time in an office environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately measuring with a laser measure
- Programming the CNC machine for stone cutting (training provided)
- Operating CNC machinery (training provided)
- Performing office work with necessary on-site measurements
- Ensure precision in measurements and cutting processes
- Read and interpret drawings and orders accurately
- Collaborate effectively with team members and customers
The perfect candidate will have:
- Experience with various tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A current white card (preferred but not essential)
- Skills from a related field (e.g., construction, cabinet making, steel fabrication)
- A willingness to learn and grow
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent using a computer and learning new software
- A manual driver’s license (preferred but not essential)
- A forklift license (preferred but not essential)
