Job description

Our State Government client is seeking experienced Auditors to conduct and complete a range of audits. Your role responsibilities may include, but is not limited to:
  • undertake field work for financial and assurance audits at client sites throughout Queensland
  • contribute to audit planning processes and undertake investigation with clients and communicate findings and risks as appropriate
  • prepare reports and presentations
  • identify significant audit matters and contributing to their resolution, including client reporting contribute to the delivery of the program of work including scoping, delivery and reporting on the engagement, and supporting resourcing and budgeting
  • ensure adherence audit methodologies, Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards and Australian Accounting Standards
About You

You have a sound knowledge and experience in the application of audit and assurance methodologies, and accounting policy and practices. You can work autonomously and are self-motivated. You possess sound written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to problem solve and apply judgment. Your ability to relate to people and communicate effectively particularly when there is an issue is critical for this position.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline e.g., accountancy, commerce, business, management
  • Membership of, or working towards membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ)
