The Opportunity 

We are seeking an APS4 Case Management Support Officers to join a Federal Government Agency based in Brisbane CBD. The position is a 12-month contract initially, with the possibility for extension.

The position will support the AAT (Administrative Appeals Tribunal) Case Management Branch to manage all external review applications in the AAT.
The Case Management Support role will be required to provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in ART matters, associated correspondence and organising assessments and may undertake some research and analysis activities.

As a Case Management Support Officer, you will be required to:
  • Receiving and registering new ART matters.
  • Actioning and directing correspondence.
  • Analysing and assessing ART Applications received by the NDIA.
  • Preparing and filing Tribunal documents as required for ART Applications received by the AAB within strict time frames.
  • Assessing and responding to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority.
  • Organising assessments to support the decision-making process for case managers.
  • Supporting Work Allocations 
  • Data and compliance reporting support
  • Undertaking various administrative/clerical tasks incl. plan building and case management support
  • Assist with onboarding of new staff
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience within a similar field with strong administration skills.
  • Ability to undertake a problem-solving approach and be inquisitive.
  • Ability to produce work in a deadline driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Sound computer literacy skills with exposure to ShaePoint and CRM's.
  • Disability sector experience is advantageous.
