APS3 Support Officer - Federal Government Client
Hourly Rate: $37.36 (excluding super)
Location: Rockingham, WA
Contract Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP (pending successful pre-employment checks)
About the Role
DFP Recruitment Services is seeking an APS3 Support Officer to join our Federal Government client on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing face-to-face and reception support, managing participant enquiries, and handling various administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in customer service who are committed to supporting people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-of-house and reception support, assisting with participant enquiries.
- Manage inbound and outbound phone calls, handling appointment bookings.
- Utilize ICT/business systems for managing and actioning participant data.
- Handle participant matters, action planning tasks, and refer customers to appropriate services.
- Support the coordination of appointments, ensuring accessibility of facilities.
- Manage team shared inbox, appointments, and respond to telephone enquiries.
- Undertake research, data entry, and basic analysis activities.
- Record complaints and feedback in business systems.
- Participate actively in training and team meetings.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service with a commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and participant engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
- Competency in using various ICT and business systems.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
