Job description

Our valued State Government client is currently seeking experienced Service Officers to join their busy team to start on 10th March 2025 through to 27th June 2024 with a possible extension.
 
The role:

As a Service Officer in their busy call centre, you will handle both inbound and outbound calls with individuals and corporations to recover funds or negotiate payment arrangements for outstanding funds. You’ll provide an excellent customer experience whilst also showing empathy and resilience.
 
About you:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong computer literacy is essential.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment.
  • Experience in a sales / banking / debt collection or recoveries environment, and/or dispute resolution / negotiation experience, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience in a challenging and high demand environment.
  • The ability to interact with a diverse range of customers and build relationships.
  • The ability to interpret and apply legislation and follow set procedures.
  • Be self-motivated to achieve personal performance goals and also be driven to contribute to team goals.
