Job description

We are looking for a skilled Workforce Planning & Procurement Specialist to join our Government Agency client based in ACT and play a key role in managing procurement activities, contracts, and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for the division.
  • Manage contracts for goods and services, ensuring alignment with objectives and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor contract performance, risk management, and adherence to policies.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement and contracting, from simple to complex cases.
  • Work independently while providing leadership within the team.
  • Support ICT contract management and administrative functions as required.

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in Commonwealth procurement within a large organisation.
  • Ability to analyse and explore procurement information from multiple sources.
  • Expertise in conducting ICT procurements and delivering ICT procurement services.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
