  • APS5 - $55.24 per hour + super
  • EL1 - $602.55 per day + super
APS5 Guidance Officer

As an APS5 Guidance Officer, you'll work under limited supervision, handling moderately complex to complex tasks.
Responsibilities include:
  • Researching, drafting, and updating guidance material to meet plain English and accessibility standards.
  • Interpreting the policy and legislative environment.
  • Developing or updating guidance based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Understanding participant pathways and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE systems.
  • Providing advice on procedural guidance and practice implementation.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the branch.
EL1 Service Guidance and Practice

In the EL1 role, you'll coordinate and manage detailed or sensitive projects that impact the Agency’s strategic and operational outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to support service delivery.
  • Offering strategic advice on participant pathways and technical processes.
  • Supporting business improvement in access and planning.
  • Reporting critical issues to senior management.
  • Leading a small team to deliver Agency Guidelines, letters, and knowledge articles.
  • Advising the Agency’s executive team and other government departments.
Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate:
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to draft and simplify complex guidance material.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA (desirable).
  • Skills in resolving issues and managing risks across various activities.
  • Ability to develop and manage high-performing teams.
  • Capability to foster a collaborative culture and engage individuals in action plan
