Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to lead the frontend development of a register.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with expertise in Next.js and Azure Cloud. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and deploying scalable, high performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Frontend Development: Architect and implement responsive user interfaces with Next.js, leveraging features like SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes.
  • Azure Cloud Integration: Deploy and manage applications on Azure, optimising performance with Azure services like CDN, Application Gateway, and Monitor.
  • API Integration: Securely integrate with RESTful APIs using technologies like Axios or fetch.
  • UI/UX Design: Ensure seamless, responsive designs with modern CSS frameworks and collaborate with design teams.
  • State Management: Use tools like Redux, Zustand, or React Query to manage application state effectively.
  • Testing and QA: Write and maintain robust test suites using Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library.
  • Collaboration: Work with backend teams on API integration and database structure, providing input on backend workflows.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with React and Next.js.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Next.js features.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, DevOps, and cloud deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and containerization.
  • Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, or GraphQL is a plus.
