  • Various locations - VIC, SA, NSW, QLD, ACT
  • Hourly rates at equivalent of APS levels

Our client is currently seeking multiple APS3 & 4 Data Entry Officers and Administration Officers, with a current Baseline Clearance, to join the team. These 14-month roles, till June 2026, are within a Federal Government agency. Work on Monday to Friday, with full time hours. Also, work from home is approved on a case-by-case basis and you can be located in any of the following client locations, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane. Hourly rates are at equivalent of APS levels.

These roles are to assist with the implementation of the new Aged Care Act, which commences on 1 July 2025. A staged digital implementation approach has been identified, which will include some off-system (manual) processes. This requires temporary additional data remediation, case processing and data analysis/reporting capacity within the Department to accommodate the anticipated volume of work.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
  • Creating/amending user access (in both Salesforce and Siebel).
  • Updating organisation/outlet information.
  • Crosschecking information between spreadsheets/templates and the system.
  • Other data remediation as required.
  • Allocation of funding packages to older people on prioritisation systems for Home Care Packages and Support at Home.
  • Keeping accurate, concise and clear records of processing actions taken.
  • Preparing and sending client correspondence and/or preparing correspondence files for vendor distribution.
  • Liaising with client service channels as required on individual client record issues.
  • Contributing to the development, management, and delivery of identified protective security projects.
  • Contributing to responses to a wide range of operational security matters and provide support to colleagues as necessary.
  • Identifying and reporting emerging security issues/incidents/trends and providing solutions where applicable

To be considered for these roles, you can demonstrate the following requirements:
  • A current Baseline Security Clearance is required - a willingness to obtain will not be considered on this occasion.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process, data entry, data analysis and or service delivery sectors.
  • Strong IT and keyboard skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data is entered correctly and consistently with a focus on minimising errors.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders.

Desirable skills:
  • Previous experience and knowledge of working in client relationship management systems, such as Siebel.
  • Direct experience with the My Aged Care (MAC) Gateway system and/or related portals will be highly regarded.

As this role is with a Federal Government Agency, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship. In addition, a current Baseline security clearance is mandatory.
