Job Ad: Senior Salesforce Developer (Contract for 18 months)
Location: Sydney/Melbourne/Adelaide

Reporting to:
Technical Program Manager - Business Transformation

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our client's Business Transformation team on an 18-month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the transformation initiatives through development and related activities, ensuring smooth operational delivery. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in Salesforce development, platform management, and problem-solving across various implementations.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Skills: Deep technical expertise in Salesforce development, platform management, and problem-solving.
  • Preferred Technologies: Apex, OmniStudio,OmniScript, Visualforce, Lightning Components, APIs, middleware, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules.
  • Attributes: Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to work closely with stakeholders, and commitment to quality and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and understand business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Design custom solutions using Salesforce technologies.
  • Develop applications and features to meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues/defects.
  • Implement and manage integrations with other systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Conduct testing to ensure quality.
  • Deploy changes using CI/CD, Salesforce DX, or other tools.
  • Monitor and maintain Salesforce applications.
  • Implement updates and enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the platform.
  • Customize environments (objects, fields, workflows, validation rules).
  • Implement automation tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.
  • Manage data migration, cleansing, and de-duplication.
  • Document technical designs and processes.
  • Maintain records of configurations and customisations.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues.
  • Offer training sessions on Salesforce functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and project managers.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing Salesforce solutions.
