DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced principal Release Train Engineer to join our Federal Government Client team.
Role responsibilities
- Define with Director project scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Responsible for the development of the project schedules and maintenance of the plan.
- Responsible for delivery of all technical components of the project solution including system architecture, cyber and security, and other aspects of technology delivery
- Work collaboratively with Business PMs to identify risks, issues, escalations, and maintain log.
- Work closely with Scrum Masters, staying abreast of status of the day-to-day delivery of the core technology solution being developed and tested.
- Publish Weekly Status Reports & produce project closure reports.
- Create & maintain a project Confluence page for team collaboration.
- Proven experience 8 to 10 years in establishing and managing the delivery of technical ICT system delivery projects, including digital cloud-based solutions.
- Recent experience in, and strong knowledge of, contemporary project management and governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Project Management in Federal or State Government environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management; or SAFe Agile.
- Proven commitment to developing staff capability and proactively fostering a positive culture aligned to corporate values.
- Work closely with other Scrum Master and stakeholders to help in prioritizing program backlog and being able to facilitate cross squad program level ceremonies.
- Experience in delivering systems based on Salesforce will be highly regarded.
