Are you a dynamic leader ready to drive transformative change in data privacy and information sharing?  As the Project Manager of Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing you will be at the forefront of the strategic initiatives to enhance data protections and facilitate secure data sharing practices.

DFP Recruitment is looking for a Project Manager with one of our government clients based in Perth CBD. The role is working Full-time up to 18-months on contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives for data privacy and secure data sharing.
  • Manage and motivate a project team to deliver a comprehensive reform program.
  • Represent the Department in briefings and awareness sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging trends and regulations in data privacy to inform proactive strategies.
  • Consult with legal, compliance, People and Culture, Policy, Risk Management teams to develop robust data governance frameworks.
  • Ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to through effective planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with technical ICT teams to implement privacy-enhancing technologies.
  • Build partnerships with external stakeholders to promote best practices in data privacy.
  • Guide internal teams on privacy impact assessments, data anonymization, and data classification.
  • Advise operational managers on implementing the Readiness Plan within their teams.
  • Provide advice on process and service improvements to comply with the new legislation.
About You:
  • Experience managing large-scale transformational projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of change management to influence successful project outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration skills to ensure project outcomes are met.
  • Proven ability to develop, plan, and implement change across multiple business units.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, accountability, and motivation to achieve quality business outcomes.
  • Experience in business analysis and similar projects is beneficial.
