Job Title: Program Manager

Position Type: 6 month Full Time Casual Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: Competitive
Location: East Perth, WA 6004
Role Overview: The Regional Road Safety Program Manager develops and oversees the Local Roads safety program, creating guidelines for governance, technical requirements, and construction practices.
 
Key Responsibilities;
  • Define, develop and manage the Regional Road Safety Program for Local Roads.
  • Prepare Program Management Guidelines covering governance, technical requirements, construction practices, procurement, scope, requirements and obligations for Local Governments.
  • Prioritise and schedule delivery of road sections according to cost benefit analysis and delivery readiness.
  • Consultation and coordination with WALGA and Local Governments delivering the works.
  • Manage the program within available funding and agreed timeframes.
 
Essential to be successful in this role:  
  • Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
  • Knowledge of road safety issues and treatments
  • Knowledge of road construction practices
  • A degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Experience Building and Enhancing Stakeholder Relationships
  • Experience Managing Financial, Technological, Physical, and other Resources within agreed allocations to meet agreed outcomes.
