Role Overview: The Regional Road Safety Program Manager develops and oversees the Local Roads safety program, creating guidelines for governance, technical requirements, and construction practices.

- Define, develop and manage the Regional Road Safety Program for Local Roads.
- Prepare Program Management Guidelines covering governance, technical requirements, construction practices, procurement, scope, requirements and obligations for Local Governments.
- Prioritise and schedule delivery of road sections according to cost benefit analysis and delivery readiness.
- Consultation and coordination with WALGA and Local Governments delivering the works.
- Manage the program within available funding and agreed timeframes.
Essential to be successful in this role:
- Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
- Knowledge of road safety issues and treatments
- Knowledge of road construction practices
- A degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Experience Building and Enhancing Stakeholder Relationships
- Experience Managing Financial, Technological, Physical, and other Resources within agreed allocations to meet agreed outcomes.
