Salary:
$50 – $55 per hour + super (based on experience)

is seeking a Mechanical Service Technician for our client, a leading provider of sustainable power solutions. Specialising in engines, generators, and hybrid energy systems, they operate across Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands, delivering reliable and efficient energy solutions to a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, overhaul, and commission gas and diesel engines
  • Perform minor and major repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Manage parts requirements and job documentation efficiently
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Participate in an on-call roster, with additional call-out fees and allowances
  • Travel to customer sites nationally to carry out or support service requirements
Skills and Experience
  • Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant trade qualification and experience)
  • Experience working with gas/diesel engines, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage stock, budgets, and customer expectations
  • Must be able to supply personal tools (additional tools and equipment provided)
