Job description

DFP is proud to partner with a well-established local family business in search of a skilled Mechanical Plumber to take the lead on all plumbing aspects of heat reclaim systems. This role encompasses design, installation, and commissioning of cutting-edge climate control solutions.

About the Role:

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for quoting, designing, installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems across diverse applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise and support to the business
Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
Install climate control, heat reclaim, and refrigeration systems
Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform servicing
Handle installations ranging from high-wall split systems to rooftop package units
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions

What We’re Looking For:

Australian Driver’s Licence
Qualified as a Mechanical Plumber or Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Mechanic
Licences and registrations in the following areas:
* Mechanical Services (essential)
* Refrigerated Air Conditioning
* Single & Multi-Head Split Systems
* Split Ducted Systems
* Rooftop Packaged Units
Experience working with refrigeration or HVAC systems
Expertise in water supply, gas disconnect/reconnect, and duct fixing
