Key Responsibilities;
- Support contract management and operation of the Port Management and Information System (PMIS) Voyager.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support Vessel Vetting Process.
- Provide support to HMO during emergency management procedures.
- Coordinate HMO approval following applications for events within Fremantle Ports’ jurisdiction.
- Monitor and coordinate approval for ship related activities such as Hot Work and Bunkering audits.
- Research and provide technical advice and support for various projects.
- Provide support in implementation of Pilot Exemption Certificates and Certificate of Local Knowledge.
- Support the execution of marine contracts relating to Pilotage, Dredging, VTMIS or as required.
Essential to be successful in the role;
- Minimum Certificate of Competency for Officer In Charge of a Navigation Watch (OICNW) or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of experience in a marine operational shore-based role or similar.
- Well-versed with MS Office Suite.
- High level analytical, report and procedural writing skills.
- Knowledge of interrelated agencies and service providers affecting Ports.
- Knowledge of marine incident investigation processes.
- Project and contract management skills.
- Effective customer management skills.
- Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
