Job description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly specialised Inclusive Education Teacher to join our amazing Berwick team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will provide 1-1 teaching and support to a 2024 Year 3 student, with the exciting prospect of progressing with that student through the Primary years. Your role will be pivotal in designing the student’s academic program, supported by our Primary generalist teaching team, other Learning Support Officers, the Head of Learning Support, and the Campus Principal.

About You:
  • Excellent understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus
  • VIT registered teacher with relevant teaching and tertiary qualifications
  • Skilled in identifying and evaluating student needs, differentiating instruction, and creating individualised education plans
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and utilisation
  • Able to provide professional guidance to staff
  • Comfortable embracing modern teaching methods and technologies, including video conferencing and online resources
