Job description

Our client is a national family-owned industry leader and is seeking a new addition to their growing team.

The role

We are looking for an experienced customer-focused salesperson who can multitask and work collaboratively.
 
  • Service all sales enquiries via walk-ins, emails or incoming calls with courteous and technically proficient advice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts’ executives and stakeholders to ensure optimal quality of service, customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Grow sales and profitability while managing pricing and margins to agreed business objectives.
  • Proactively follow up quotations to generate sales growth.
  • Support external and head office sales staff with any sales, administration, or quotation queries.
  • Pass on leads to external and head office sales staff as appropriate.
  • Contact customers from call lists on an as required basis.
  • Ensure a professional delivery of after-sales-support.
 
You will have the following:
  • 3+ years relevant experience in selling and providing after sales support on industrial hardware products.
  • Technical product industry knowledge
  • The provision of efficient, professional, and consistent administration services.
  • The ability to maintain a flexible attitude to the daily workflows.
  • Highly organised and efficient individual.
  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well presented with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to use software applications incl. Microsoft office.
  • Mechanical and trade qualifications will be advantageous.
