Facilities Officer (3-Month Contract)
Location: Kalgoorlie

We are seeking a committed and professional Facilities Officer to join one of our government clients on a full-time, 3-month contract based in Kalgoorlie with view of extension.

About the Role:
As a Facilities Officer, you will play a central role in the management and maintenance of our facilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee the security operations to ensure a safe environment.
  • Manage and coordinate refurbishment projects.
  • Supervise on-site contractors and ensure all contracts are managed effectively.
  • Conduct thorough building inductions for new staff and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records through efficient database and asset management.
  • Perform detailed on-site cleaning inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff and contractors, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient environment.

About you
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • High accuracy in data entry with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing and potentially conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both staff and contractors.
  • Previous experience in government roles is highly regarded.
  • Experience in building, property, fleet, or facility management roles is an advantage.
  • A valid National Police Clearance is essential.
