About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Support Officer to join our Federal Government client, on a 12 month non-ongoing contract, where you will provide essential administrative support to the senior executives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and supports the commitment to uphold the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and efficiency in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Salary: Will be paid at an APS4.1 equivalent of $73,556.00 + super.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week(the organisation has a lot of flexibility around working hours and home-based work)

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver responsive and efficient administrative support services to senior executives.
- Manage senior executive diaries, coordinate meetings and functions, and handle travel arrangements.
- Provide secretariat support for various committees, including drafting agendas, minutes, and coordinating the preparation and distribution of agenda papers.
- Liaise effectively with senior staff, internal and external stakeholders, and clients, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Coordinate responses to enquiries, including drafting correspondence.
- Proactively drive the efficient and effective operations of the executive support area.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong coalitions to achieve results, with experience managing complex and time-sensitive matters.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capability to plan and manage time effectively amidst competing demands.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, complemented by excellent listening abilities.
- Initiative and autonomy in delivering results, whether working independently or as part of a small team.
