Job description

Our valued State Government client is looking for 2x Estimators with strong Construction background. This pivotal role will you see you involved with a range of residential and commercial projects valued between $500K to $15M.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing fee proposals, quotes, and sub-contract tenders and evaluations.
  • Applying knowledge of WHS legislation and applicable processes.
  • Participating in procurement processes and sub-contract tender evaluation.
  • Putting together tender and quotation documentation for building projects
  • Preparing and presenting budgets, reports, and project plans.
  • Monitoring construction processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Construction industry experience (residential or commercial) in the same capacity
  • Ability to interpret, plan, and prepare accurate building estimates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software (COSTEX)
  • Hold a current White Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong negotiation skills

This role offers an hourly rate of $62.36 + Super, an initial 3-month engagement with a strong possibility of an extension and an opportunity to work on some exciting projects!
