Job description

We are collaborating with our national client who is a leading energy solutions provider to find an experienced Electrical Service Technician for their Larapinta location. Reporting to the Area Service Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing EPSA generators across the Brisbane Region, ensuring minimal downtime.  You will work across a 5/2 roster.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning for major and routine outages
  • Participate in incident investigations
  • Identifying areas for improvements
  • Work closely with the National Service Coordinator on plant performance and daily maintenance schedules
  • Recording information, completing service orders, stocktaking, order parts and materials
  • Assist with Australia wide technicians
Experience & Skills:
  • Electrical qualification – A-Grade – Electrical & Australian recognised
  • Current First Aid, CPF and LVR Certificate
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Nationally accredited forklift licence (desirable)
  • High voltage switching (desirable)
  • Dual trade mechanical (desirable)
  • Minimum five years experience within the power industry
  • Background and experience in operating and or repairing diesel power generation equipment
  • Ability to interpret Electrical / Mechanical and P&ID drawings, specifications and wiring programs
  • Sound knowledge of computer and software systems
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations.
