EL1 Program Manager – Fraud Taskforce and Investigations
About the role:
We are seeking an EL1 Program Manager on behalf of a Federal Government Agency based in Deakin, ACT. This is a 12-month assignment, with a strong possibility of extension. The position offers flexibility and a pay rate of $602.55 per day, plus super.
The EL1 Program Manager is a team leadership position and is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across Fraud Fusion Taskforce & Fraud Intelligence and Investigation functions of the Agency.

The EL1 Program Manager is a team leadership position and is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across Fraud Fusion Taskforce & Fraud Intelligence and Investigation functions of the Agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing team leadership of structured governance and project management to the Director Fraud Investigations.
- Integrating the objectives of the Complex Assessment, Fraud Intelligence and Investigation initiatives with the broader Agency goals.
- Managing internal and external project reporting responsibilities, providing advice regarding project management, reporting and other associated functions to internal stakeholders.
- Developing project management plan in line with the Agency’s date management frameworks.
- Managing day to day demands, competing project priorities and re-negotiating timeframes where necessary.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience as a Project or Program Manager for multi-agency initiatives and/or cross-Government Taskforces.
- High degree of knowledge and expertise in Commonwealth fraud, including NDIS related fraud.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Intelligence Operations and/or investigations.
- Experience in Field investigation and/or Operational activity (Major Incident Rooms, Operations Centres, physical support on warrants).
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering innovative bulk data pilots and initiatives.
- Experience in bulk data analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in intelligence analysis and writing in intelligence.
- Prior experience as primary lead on stakeholder management for multi-agency activities.
- High degree of expertise in Strategic Planning and Risk.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams

- Applicants must hold Australian citizenship.
- Be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Check and completion of the Agency’s screening checks, including; Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Successful applicant must hold or be able to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance.
