The Opportunity:
The Coordinator Learning Hubs oversees and manages the Learning Hub spaces across various campuses. These spaces offer students access to support from Learning Hub Officers and other staff, helping with digital literacy, learning skills, resources, and other services to promote student success. The coordinator also provides technical expertise in managing traditional library services, including the TAFE Gippsland collection and library systems.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have:

·      Proven experience in library operations
·      Experience in leading and managing a small team
·      In-depth knowledge of library practices
·      Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
·      Ability to assist students with basic IT troubleshooting
·      Solid understanding of digital literacy concepts
·      Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
·      Excellent time management and organizational abilities, including setting priorities and planning work
·      Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

·      Oversee the daily operations of the Learning Hubs, ensuring students receive comprehensive support in digital literacy, learning resources, and skill development
·      Assist in maintaining and managing the library management system to ensure smooth processes and a positive student experienc
·      Work closely with Learning Hub Officers to maintain the quality and accuracy of the Learning Hub’s resource catalogue
·      Lead and support a team of Learning Hub Officers, ensuring they are equipped to address a wide range of student support needs
·      Attend meetings to stay informed about courses and resources, and collaborate with Vic Library
·      Lead the team in assisting students with digital literacy challenges and resolving technical issues

Mandatory Requirements

·    Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
·    Current Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
·    A valid Driver’s Licence (travel required)
