Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Leasing Officer for an initial 6-month temporary casual contract in Perth CBD.
Title: Commercial Leasing Officer
Rate: $50-65 per hour plus Super (depending on relevant experience and suitability for the role)
Location: Perth CBD
Hours: Full-time – 38 hours per week
Duration: 6-months with possible extension
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Commercial Management
- Direct property manager contractors to negotiate and establish commercial lease/licence arrangements to ensure legal compliance and adequate protection of state assets whilst leased/licences to external parties.
- Assist with the commercial leasing which will consider a wide range of solutions tailored to meet the specific rail patron needs and patronage numbers such as peppercorn leases, not for profits or community organisations, child care, Australia Post parcel lockers, bike repair kiosks, dry-cleaning, other services (business or health), pop ups (art based, travelling exhibitions) and advertising opportunities to mention only a few.
- Review and ensure the leasing/licencing arrangements are implemented effectively, efficiently and in accordance with relevant legislation and Government and Portfolio Transport Land and Property Services (TPLPS) expectations.
- Liaise with project teams to monitor progress of base build uplifts to commercial leasing spaces.
- Developing bespoke pop/up activation leases/licences.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with public and private sector stakeholders, including internal and external to the Transport portfolio.
- Essential experience in commercial leasing and property management.
- Strong stakeholder consultation and engagement.
- Current National Police Clearance (or able to obtain if successful)
- Full working rights within Australia
