Our state government client is seeking experienced Clinical Coders for three available positions in their Perth CBD offices.
Rate: $49-62 per hour plus Super (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Hours: Part-time – 22.5 hours per week (3 days) – Mon to Fri – 8:30am to 4:30pm
Location: Perth CBD
Duration: 6 months
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)
Please note: Remote/WFH options are not available due to sensitive nature
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful Clinical Coder(s) will review coronial findings and extrapolate from police, toxicology and medical reports to code a set of data variables based on the information in the documents, including physical health and mental health conditions.

ABOUT YOU
- Experience coding using the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10 AM, 12th Edition is preferable).
- Candidates will be required to view highly confidential files and medical records that may include distressing content.
- Current National Police Clearance, or able to obtain
- Full working rights within Australia for the duration of the contract
