APS4 Case Management Support
  • 12 month contract with extension
  • Perth CBD Location
  • $43.82ph + Super
About the Team
The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) Case Management Branch manages all external review applications in the AAT. The branch aims to improve the experience of current and prospective participants by resolving disputes in a timely and consistent manner.
 
About the Role
The role will be required to provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in AAT matters, associated correspondence and organising assessments and may undertake some research and analysis activities
 
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Receiving and registering new AAT matters.
  • Actioning and directing correspondence.
  • Analysing and assessing AAT Applications received by the client.
  • Preparing and filing Tribunal documents as required for AAT Applications received by the AAB within strict time frames.
  • Assessing and responding to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority.
  • Organising assessments to support the decision making process for case managers
Key skills required for the role: 
  • Supporting Work Allocations 
  • Data and compliance reporting support 
  • Undertaking various administrative/clerical tasks
  • Assist with onboarding of new staff

    Desirable Skills:
  • SharePoint experience 
  • CRM / database management experience 
  • An understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability is highly desirable. Any legal and/or case management support experience. 
Security
The following essential checks/clearances are required to perform the role:
  • Pre-Engagement Check - this is a mandatory pre-employment security screening process. All employees and contractors of Agency must undertake a Pre-Engagement Check. This process can take a few weeks if succesful for the position, you will also require a relatively clean police clearance.
