Our client, within State Government has a temporary opportunity for an experienced Business Support Officer in their Payroll team.
You will be responsible for the accurate entry of timesheets, labour costing, leave, staff movements and extensions for field and office-based staff as well as answering general payroll queries from staff.

- An understanding of payroll principals and processing
- A high attention to detail and the ability to pick up on errors prior to processing
- Must be able to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Must be a team player and easily adapt to new systems.
- Have confidence in fielding payroll queries from staff
- Must have Confidence in speaking directly with senior management and supervisors regarding payroll and staff movements.
