Job description

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Manager for an exciting 12-month contract in Fremantle, WA at the iconic E-Shed Markets!

Title: Assistant E-Shed Manager  Hourly rate: $63 per hour plus Super (Weekdays) and $74.29 per hour plus Super (Sunday) 

Commencement: ASAP 
Contract duration: 12 months  
Location: Fremantle, WA 
Hours per week: 40 hours per week (4 weekdays and Sunday)

Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements - casual loading included in rate)
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who strives to deliver high value services to meet customer expectations and conducts management services in a professional and business-like manner.  

Duties: 
  • Candidates will largely be assisting and providing support to the E Shed Manager with tenant management and maintenance matters for E Shed 
  • They will need to provide on-site support for the E Shed Manager on Sundays 
  • They will need to cover weekend work when the E Shed Manager goes on leave which may include Saturdays and as and when required 
  • They will need to be flexible and provide support in other areas of property management/administration which involves other Victoria Quay tenants 
  • Drafting marketing plans for E Shed (annual and monthly plans) 
  • Overseen special events at E Shed as and when required 
Technical, Professional and Specialist Skills:
  • Knowledge of retail tenancy legislation and related experience in managing retailers 
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Property Management processes 
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills 
  • High level interpersonal and customer liaison skills 
  • Good understanding of financial matters 
  • Proven analytical and computer skills 
  • Have experience/knowledge with marketing e.g. Facebook, webpages, Instagram etc. 
  • Some previous experience in managing events will be considered beneficial 
  • Enthusiastic, professional applicants who strives to deliver high value services to meet customer expectations and conduct management services in a professional and business-like manner 
  • Collaborate closely with all retail tenants to solve marketing strategies 
Pre-employment Requirements 
  • Full working rights within Australia for duration of contract 
  • Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain if successful
