APS6 HR Advisor – Employee Relations
  • $90,199 - $101,745 + 15.4% super
  • Hybrid and Flexible Work Options
  • s26 or non-ongoing

About the role:
My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor specialising in Employee Relations to join their small team. This position is available as an s26 transfer (temporary or permanent) or a non-ongoing engagement for an initial term of 6 to 12 months.
 
In addition to Employee Relations, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a broader range of generalist HR functions along with working on some interesting and impactful pieces of work including:
  • Assist to develop the performance and employment strategy and rewards and recognition program
  • SES reporting and management of SES workplace terms and conditions
  • Contribute to developing employment policy
  • Deliver complex logistical and organisational support to new and existing employees and their families relating to offshore deployments
  • Provide specialist advice to key internal and external stakeholders on international policy developments and the organisations international activities
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on international deployments, including operational updates, outcome and lessons learnt
 
About You:
You’ll have extensive experience as a HR Generalist with strengths in Employee Relations and a keen interest in the international deployment of Australian Citizens on assignment for the organisation.
 
Key skills & attributes:
  • Have an awareness and/or understanding of relevant employee legislation and policy frameworks, government decision-making processes and/or international deployment guidelines and regulations
  • Possess the ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders on matters relating to employee relations and/or internal deployments, including preparing relevant strategic advice where appropriate
  • Can prioritise workloads for yourself and other team members, while monitoring progress toward deliverables across the work area
  • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture
